After nearly losing my life on another Arctic photo shoot, I return to Texas to thaw out in the sun. With my camera gear finally clean, I plan a much-needed break.

That’s when my chaotic bestie hooks me up with an easy gig: painting a five-star Caribbean retreat under renovation. Free stay. Private island. Paradise.

The night before my job begins, I cave and let a devastatingly handsome stranger at a beach bar take me. The chemistry is explosive. But the nightmare starts the next morning.

I tell myself I won’t fall for my teacher, and I definitely won’t stay. But on this island … his island, paradise is getting far too addictive to ever leave.
